First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has bought and supported our anthology, ‘Pick and Mix’. It’s been selling like the proverbial hot cakes – not like King Alfred’s scorched offerings, but rather similar to a Mary Berry slow but perfectly risen sponge – very pleasing indeed.
We’ve enjoyed some super articles in the Brecon and Radnor Express and the Wye Local. Here are some new updates –
Pick and Mix will also be for sale in:
Oakchurch Farm Shop, Staunton-on-Wye, Hereford.
The Old Railway Garden Centre, Three Cocks.
The King of Hay’s Bookshop, Castle Street, Hay-on-Wye.
If you’d rather hunker down indoors, (quite understandable given the current weather warnings) follow this link to order our book via Amazon.

And finally ….
As all good things must come to an end, so this website-maintaining Hay Writer bids you adieu after two fantastic years of online word-mongering. Do not worry, I’ll still be a Hay Writer it’s just that in 2016 my poetry will be taking me all over the UK. I’m passing the interweb baton into the extremely capable hands of Jan Newton – whom I have every confidence will rise from my binary ashes into a very fine phoenix indeed.
Good luck Jan 🙂
Best wishes to all,
